I (Lane) created this recipe for Valentine's Day.  We like this recipe because it's a good combination of chocolate, peanut butter and apple.  If anyone has peanut allergies, substitute another ingredient for the peanut butter.

Super Apple
Ingredients:
      1 apple
      Peanut butter
     Dark chocolate chips

To make:
     1.  Cut the apple in half.

     2.  Cut out the seed parts.
     3.  Put peanut butter in the hole of the apple.
     4.  Melt the chocolate in the microwave.  We did it for 10 seconds and then stirred it around. Repeat process until chocolate is completely melted.
     5.  Dip the flat part of the apples in the chocolate.
     6.  Let cool until the chocolate is hard.

Enjoy!

  5. Lane,
Thanks so much for sharing this yummy recipe. I am going to surprise Papa Dale tomorrow and make this for him. I even have that brand of chocolate chips and they are really good ones.

Papa Dale got a new mixer today. It is like your mom's mixer. He is excited about learning to make bread and I know he wants to try your bread recipe.

I love you. I look forward to following your blog.

    Love,

    Gramma Glory
